Vision and Mission

Introduction

The Karen Baptist Convention Hospital was established as an out- patient clinic in 1993. The clinic was upgraded to include in- patient care and treatment. Today it become a hospital and provides specialist services. Medicine sale, Operation fees and charges are the main sources of income with contribution from individuals, Churches and other organizations. This hospital is under the supervision of Care and Counseling Department, Karen Baptist Convention. The Director of Care and Counseling Department is Tharamu Htoo Khu Kalu Paw.

Establishment

Under supervision of Care and Counseling Department of KBC Established in 1993 as a dispensary for seminary students Upgraded from time to time in order to response to the needs of communities. Medicine sale and service charges are the main sources of income & adequate to run the Hospital Contributions from individuals, churches and organizations for major expenses and expansion

 

Structure and Affiliation
  1. To look after the health of students who have come to study at the Seminaries.
  2. To provide accessible, affordable and appropriate health care services to all, regardless of race and religion.
  3. To offer free medical care to the poor and needy.
  4. To provide specialist service through physicians and surgeons.

The KBC Hospital is a Christian Health Care Service Provider, where our mission is to emulate our Lord Jesus Christ in His Healing Ministry while He was on earth.
